Coinbase Index Fund now open to accredited U.S. investors
Index Fund launched by Coinbase, the largest U.S. cryptocurrency trading service, is now open for investments ranging from $250,000 to $20M.
According to the official statement, there has been an overwhelming interest from investors since the fund was launched earlier this year. Based on this interest, Coinbase decided to open the fund for large-scale investments.

“Coinbase Index Fund gives investors exposure to all assets listed on our exchange, weighted by market capitalization. As we announced yesterday, the fund will be rebalanced to include Ethereum Classic, and more assets when they are listed by Coinbase in the future,” official announcement reads.

Coinbase also informed that at this stage the fund is only open to US-resident accredited investors.
“We’re working on launching more funds which are accessible to all investors and cover a broader range of digital assets.”
