Thailand’s leading bespoke tour operator accepts Bitcoin as payment
Thailand’s luxury travel agency, Smiling Albino, announces that they will start taking bitcoin as payment.
Offering luxury custom adventures throughout Southeast Asia to customers from all over the world, this initiative is believed to offer a more efficient way for Smiling Albino’s customers to pay for their bespoke tours.
Commenting on this new payment method, Stephanie Rowe, Smiling Albino’s Director of Business Development says, “Our core clients are leaders in their fields and innovators. By adapting early to cryptocurrency we hope to facilitate, for some of our clients, easy payments for on-the-fly bookings or add-ons during their trips.”
Bitcoin payments will be officially accepted from 1 Aug 2017 for all Smiling Albino trips to Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam.
Smiling Albino is co-founded in 1999 by Daniel Fraser, a Canadian expat turned national TV show host.
