Litecoin is returning to CEX.io exchange
Cryptocurrency exchange CEX.io plans to reintroduce cryptocurrency Litecoin (LTC) support on its platform.
UK-based exchange stopped supporting Litecoin in February 2017 “because of low activity”.
“Back in 2017, we had to stop supporting Litecoin while we prepared to launch new opportunities for our users and upgrade our platform”, the announcement reads.
However, the 7th largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization is returning to CEX.io.
“As demand for LTC coin trading has increased significantly since that time, we’re ready to list Litecoin and plan to create a vibrant market for the following pairs: LTC/BTC and LTC/USD”.
Although the exact date of the update is not known but at the initial period of operations the LTC/BTC market will have zero fees.
